This might be that they are elderly, have behavioural challenges, are not assessed as suitable to live in a home, and rehoming would simply be too stressful for them, amongst other things.
These animals sometimes have long-term health problems, and often attract higher bills for their upkeep: more vet visits; more specialised food etc.
Waiting for the Purrfect Home Cats is exactly that. They are available for re-homing, might just be waiting for their purrfect family, might be too young just yet, or might be going through all the preparation required to rehome them - vaccinations, sterilisation etc.
