About Us

War Pets Ukraine is an umbrella project run by Aid Ukraine Animals UK charity. It's key aims are to provide an easy, professional and safe way of adopting internationally and providing direct aid for abandoned and orphaned pets in Ukraine.

As Aid Ukraine Animals UK we personally know all the partner orgs on the platform. We work together. We help each other. We share the same aims - to change the lives of those who do not have a voice in this war - the animals in Ukraine.

We're passionate about what we do and between us and our partners we have decades of experience in working in war zones, rescue, adoption, evacuations and animal welfare law and prosecution.

We also have a very strong ethos of egalitarian and  professional approach towards the work that we do. The animals we rescue are key to everything that we do. We are their voice - there is no fame, nor glory in rescue and adoption. There's hard work, small victories and the knowledge that the work we do makes a direct difference and saves lives. Thousands of lives.
